Kyrasu Wapŭle (Tzolkese: ኪረሡ፡ጨጳሏ; pronounced ?[ki.ʁä.su.wä.pŭ.ɾɛ]; born 27th January 1845) was the reigning Haygažu of Tzolkun during the First World War. Ascending as the head of the Tribal Council at the age of fifteen after the sudden death of previous Haygažu Bweken Ožode, who left no legitimate heirs, Kyrasu Wapŭle became the first of the Wapŭle tribe to achieve the title of Haygažu.

As leader of the Tzolkese Tribal Council, Wapŭle had been known to be utterly dependant on consultations with rest of the council before making any decisions, a habit that continued long into his maturity to the point where he trusted even the advice of juniors decades younger than himself. His timidness and lack of imagination allowed the rest of the Council to take advantage of him, using his legal authority as a rubber stamp to better their own positions of power and wealth at the expense of the national economy.

Wapŭle and his Council's attempt to govern the nation without meaningful economic reforms led to a severe national decline by the 1900's, driving it into a state of continued isolation from the industrialised nations of the world. Of his multiple fiscal and political failures, the national coffers emptied at a record rate, with wealth equivalent to many thousands of Anbra going toward meaningless vanity purchases and a bloated military budget, the military of which managed to grow large through both a constant fear of invasion from Variyako and a growing decadence of its ossified cadre of generals seeking to fortify their own positions of authority and wealth.
