“ | Heretical revisionism perpetuated by rightist scabs, is the weapon of the imperialists and bourgeois that is a greater threat to the blessed revolutionary masses then heretical dogmatism. Heretical dogmatists wear their reactionanism on their sleeves, meaning it is but simple to crush them before they launch the counter-revolution. Heretical revisionists, bathed in feudalist and reactionist thinking, pay lip service to God, but in fact try and undermine his teachings and the revolution, like rot in fruit. We must cut off and stamp out the rot utterly and completely in order to purify the revolution from rightist scabs. | ” |

Sulejman Boyadžijev, known by his nom de guerre Sulejman Lukanov (Wunal: ሡሌይመን፡ሉከኖቭ; pronunciation [su.ɾɛ.jə̆.maɴ.ɾu.ka.nɔv]; Atraelish pronunciation ?/su.ˈleɪ.mɑːn ˈluːkɑː.nov/; born 1857, aged 43) is the chief theoretician and founding member of the Labour Vilakismus Front. A former peasant born in the southern province of Lukačaju, Lukanov fled to Odokcraca in the mid-1870's to escape conscription into the Variyakoi army in the closing months of the Variyakoi Civil War. In 1879 he met Variyakoi former priest Vulko Silajidžić and subsequently helped form alongside others the Labour Vilakismus Front. Lukanov has been credited for turning the LVF into a revolutionary movement, and is thought to have control over several LVF cells in southern Variyako around his home province of Lukačaju.
History[edit | edit source]
Early life[edit | edit source]
Sulejman Lukanov was born as Sulejman Boyadzhiev in the village of Donubask in the Lukačaju province in southern Variyako. The precise date of his birth is disputed - according to his LVF membership card, he was born in the month of Ǩu'haćy in 1857 - however, some have commented that he was born earlier probably in around Sulaweya'haćy. Sulejman was born in a peasant serf family of abject poverty - his mother died when giving birth to him. His families ethnic origin was Biakzi Variyakoi, whilst their religious affiliation was Sejaveti Soziti, praticed by a minority of Variyakoi's but a majority in the southern provinces of Lukačaju and Jećelazu. His father being of low social ranking had only one wife, whose only previous child had been a nine year old daughter. Under his father's roof, Sulejman was treated harshly, being beaten and abused frequently both physically and mentally. With no wife and one son, Sulejman's father was determined to have the young Sulejman receive a proper education, having his daughter go through breast ironing before selling her into concubinage at the age of thirteen so to pay for Sulejman to be sent to a religious school which he was enrolled at in 1870 at the age of 13. The school taught students if they could pay daily fees - as a result Sulejman was unable to attend for a full school term if his father did not enough money for a days study. He studied at the school for only two years before being recalled to work in the fields, having become barely literate.
In his youth Sulejman was known for being hardworking, but prone to violence having beaten other local village children. It has been alleged that Sulejman would often amongst other things tear the wings from birds as well as catch rats and eat them alive alongside other village children - such activities were and still are not uncommon amongst Variyakoi peasant youth. After finishing school Sulejman only spent a few weeks working before fleeing from Variyako to the newly independent state of Odokcraca, which was within walking distance from the village of Donubask. Sulejman's flight to Odokcracia was motivated by his fear of being conscripted into the Imperial Variyakoi Army, which was at that time combating rebellions in Umlokovy, Zeleovki, Justavka and Variyakoi proper. Sulejman was not unique as hundreds of young Variyakoi men - mainly in the Lukačaju and Savihivu provinces - escaped across the border from Variyako to Odokcracia. Sulejman moved to the city of Graišti, Odokcracia's third largest city located in the west of the country. Graišti had the largest ethnic Variyakoi population of all cities in Odokcracia and was well known for being a haven for revolutionary and leftist activity, being the base of several Variyakoi dissident groups opposed to the imperial government in Mestata.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Ideology[edit | edit source]
As Chief Theoretician of the LVF Lukanov effectively balances out the idealogical factions within the organisation by "fusing" together differing ideologies. For example, Lukanov is known neither to support the wholesale collectivisation of agriculture but does not want to stop at simple land reform, instead advocating for the peasants to keep their crops as long as the state was given the right to requestion a set amount of produce. Critics allege that Lukanov is one of the least idealogical members within the LVF leadership being a pragmatist first and foremost but is able to effectively communicate the different ideologies for his own gain. Critics allege that Lukanov adjusts his rhetoric according to the situation at times endorsing Pan-Nerian Nationalism and at others agrarian socialism.

“ | The time of revolutionary co-operatism is over - from now on, there should be self-criticism to determine the children of God and the rightist scabs. Genuine revolutionaries of the Vilakismusi cause have nothing to fear, as they have nothing to criticise - hence, only rightist scabs will try and stall this revolutionary procedure | ” |
