Gantaizi (የዊ፡ገንተፂዜ᎐በኽቴ, Jawi Gantaizǒ'baǩte) is a language spoken by the Gantaiz people of Neira.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. Neira's long history of ethnic conflict, as well as active discrimination and purgation of Gantaiz people, has resulted in many of those with Gantaiz backgrounds hiding their identities, most commonly those who have abandoned a traditional nomadic lifestyle. Thus the number of actual speakers is difficult to estimate
  2. According to mainstream opinion, the languages of the Neiran continent, whilst related to one-another, demonstrate few supportable links to other human languages. Thus, the languages' mother tongue is regarded as a language isolate, and is simply categorised as part of the "Neiran" language family.
