The historiographical term Three Dynasties of Yashurhiel (or Three Dynasties Period) refers to the period of Yashurhieli history from 972 - 1394 CE where the former territories of the Hanaszua Dynasty were ruled by the Houses of Tiyatl (ruling from Dshinyo), Senshesej (Ruling from Kabaty), and Hanhuatl (Ruling from Zhenams).

The period was characterised by constant warfare between the three ruling families, internal uprisings by long-oppressed peasants or upstart princes, and invasions by neighbouring empires, kingdoms and warrior-principalities, the most notable of which being the then prosperous Seonmi Empire. The House of Tiyatl would progressively lose its territory to neighbouring abatan kingdoms until its demise in 1278 CE, while the houses of Senshesej and Hanhuatl would remain until 1394 CE, where a series of humiliating defeats caused Senshesej to split into the warrior-principalities of Shirihiel and Kenyrhiel, and the victorious House of Hanhuatl subsequently declaring itself as the rightful ruler of the new third Empire of Yashurhiel.
