The Kingdom of Virassia (?/vɪ.ˈræ.siː.ə/; Virassian: Վռսկըննա Փիռռենէ tr. Vrskanna Firrene), was a state that existed from 1755 until the end of the Virassian Civil War in 1901, with its monarchy informally deposed in 1899 and unofficially ruled by General Wassen Schamilte before the formal establishment of Schamiltist Virassia. A waning Amleian power during much of its existence, and a former colonial power in its final years, Virassia became the world's largest landlocked country by area after losing access to the sea in October 1899 after the People's Revolutionary Front of the self-proclaimed Independent Republic of Nicimia successfully wrestled control of Virassia's eastern coastal provinces. It was the only landlocked country in the world to have possessed colonies - that being Virassian Fascae - whilst being landlocked, a title of which was soon invalidated with the colony's own succession from Virassian rule during the Civil War.

For almost two years during the Virassian Civil War, Virassia was governed as a unitary parliamentary monarchy by the Virassian Royal Parliament established after the first wave of uprisings of March-May 1898. Though based on the Etruarand System, the parliament was unicameral, comprised only of a lower house of 100 seats tasked with drafting and voting on bills before putting them forward before the King. Initially comprised primarily of the Virassian Republican Party and the Constitutional Democratic Party - parties inherited from the Virassian Royal Council, its unelected predecessor - the parliament held its first and only election in June 1898, introducing the Socialist Party and Argent Dawn, as well as four seats on the crossbench for the Republican Coalition and one independent.
