The Yaqshan Dynasty was the second ruling dynasty of the first Empire of Yashurhiel. A brief, turbulent dynasty, its only Emperor Pastfan Yaqshan struggled to maintain control over the corrupt and famine-ridden empire as his throne was ceaselessly challenged by pretenders raising armies to march on Dshinyo and/or carving up sections of the countryside for themselves. In his later years and following his death, the first empire collapsed, ushering in an anarchic period known as the Great Collapse.
